The Association born in the years 1946-49 by iniciative of very few students from different European countries. The world in which it all began in was not a pleasant one. There was a burning need to bridge the gap across people and cultures.
The emergence of activities to rebuild war-torn Europe, the need of education on clear understanding of international relations and to produce capable individuals to rebuild the economy served as a catalyst to bring forward exchange activities. Endeavors to nurture cooperation amongst neighboring countries commenced; now AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organization, active in over 1700 universities across more than 107 countries and territories, counting about 35.000 members inn the globe, and having an international platform that enables young people to explore and develop their leadership potential with the aim of having a positive impact in society.
The Committee of Roma3 is one of the local groups in Italy.
